Fundo de Energia, FP, abbreviated to "FUNAE, FP", is a Mozambican public institution created under Decree No. 24/97, of July 22, as amended by Decree 101/2020, of November 12, with the aim of financing and implementing energy projects in order to increase access to energy in rural areas, is a public institution created with the aim of financing and implementing energy projects, especially in rural areas. Under Decree No. 24/97, FUNAE aims to increase access to energy by promoting off-grid electrification and focusing on renewable energies.
